Dataflow Add Location Prisms

The Add Location Prisms dataflow merges a selected location prism IFC file with an IFC model. It automatically creates a Generic Group of prism objects under the Added Location Prisms -folder. The default group name can be changed, and the color of the location prisms can also be customized.

This dataflow supports the import and management of location prism files within an IFC model. It is recommended for use together with the Add Location Using Prisms (Optional Split) dataflow.

Settings

Step Name

The name of the dataflow step. The step name can be edited manually.

File Name

The name and path of the location prism IFC file.

Group Name

The group name for the merged location prism objects. The default name is Location Prisms, but it can be edited. If multiple location prism files need to be merged with the same model, the group name should be changed for each merged location prism IFC file.

Prism Color

The color of the merged location prism objects. The default color is light grey, but it can be customized.
