Taking the opportunity to introduce ModulusBIM - advisory consultancy practice for construction on all matters open standards, interoperability and good information management implementation.

After exciting near two decades working with some of the best and often largest construction management companies in Europe and Australasia, seeking work & life balance ModulusBIM was founded. Finding myself in Far North Queensland, North East tip of Australian continent, wedged between Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rain forest and Savannah land west of here, equipped with satellite internet and unquenchable passion for open information exchange I continue to work, albeit without the stress that used to be the norm.

Several years ago a customer required a desktop study carried out to identify how their upstream, less than ideal information could be transformed into structured, predictable and open information flow supporting several significant Digital Engineering (BIM) use cases. SimpleBIM was the obvious choice, at least in my mind. Maintaining impartial and practical view through the exercise the study itself supported professional first instinct. 

Following the study an organic opportunity arose to help local markets discover and appreciate the significance of what SimpleBIM offers.
