Dataflow Exclude Far Away Objects

The Exclude Far Away Objects dataflow removes objects that are located far away from the rest of the model so that they won't, for example, be exported to an IFC file. Note that excluded objects are visible in the Simplebim Desktop user interface only when Trimmer Mode is active.

This dataflow can be used to clean the model by removing stray objects placed far from the main building geometry.

Settings

Step Name

The name of the dataflow step. The step name can be edited manually.

Target Objects

The objects from which the far away objects are searched for.

Max Distance between Objects

The maximum distance used to determine whether an object is considered far away. Objects located further than the specified distance from other objects will be excluded. The default value is 100 m.
