The Exclude Duplicate Objects dataflow removes objects with duplicate geometry so that they won’t, for example, be exported to an IFC file. Note that excluded objects are visible in the Simplebim Desktop user interface only when Trimmer Mode is active.
This dataflow can be used to clean the model before performing tasks such as quantity take-off.

Hello Tomi, and thank you.
I would like to know what the difference is between these two steps. In the first one, we exclude the duplicate objects, and in the second one, we find them, is that correct?
What does based on geometry mean? Is the first step not based on geometry?
Thank you for your question, Razieh. The difference between these two steps is as follows:
Exclude Duplicate Objects is a premade Installed Dataflow that includes more than one tool/step for ease of use. In this case, it includes both the Find Duplicate Objects Based on Geometry tool with default settings and the Include/Exclude Objects tool, also with default settings.
Find Duplicate Objects Based on Geometry is a single tool used to identify duplicate objects.
Thank you Maria, now it is more clear :)
