Overview

The Connections palette shows connections (relationships) between objects. The connections can be used for copying information from one object to another, for example copying the number of a room to all objects in the room. The imported model typically has some connections, like the containment and new connections between objects can be created using for example the proximity, location and quantity calculation tools.

Data

The Containment palette is populated by dragging and dropping objects on the palette. The Connection palette has tabs that can be added and removed. This makes it possible to have dedicated tabs for different purposes by combining which objects are dropped to the palette and setting the appropriate filter.
