Bimsheet: Export

The Bimsheet: Export tool exports model data to Excel, using a predefined Bimsheet file as a template for the export. The content of your Excel file is defined with the Bimsheet palette.

Use this tool for automating the extraction of data from your models into Excel. The workflow inside this tool is the following:

1. Opens a Bimsheet file (Excel)
2. Fills the Bimsheet with data from your model
3. Exports a plain Excel file with your data

Settings

Bimsheet File Name

The full path and name, including file extension, for the Bimsheet Excel file used as the template for exporting data.

Type in the path and name, or click on the three dots to select the file with the File Selector dialog.

Export File Name

The full path and name, including file extension, for the new Excel file.

Type in the path and name, or click on the three dots to select the file with the File Selector dialog.
