Delete Objects

Delete Objects removes the given object permanently from the model. The operation cannot be undone.

The Delete Objects tool is usually used for managing your dataflows. Sometimes it is better to remove, for example, temporary objects from the model in the middle of the dataflow, so that they don't disturb the rest of the processing. You might, for example, want to run the Split Objects tool multiple times with a different set of location prisms and remove each set of prisms from the model after they have been used.

Note that if you just want to exclude some objects from your IFC export, then use Include/Exclude Objects tool instead. This will make the exported IFC file cleaner and lighter, but doesn't remove the objects permanently from Simplebim. This would allow you, for example, to make another IFC export with another set of objects.

Objects to Delete

Defines objects that the tool will delete.

Note, if the objects are containers, then all the child objects assigned to the container and their children are deleted. In other words, everything under the given objects in the model tree will be deleted.
