Move Objects Along Alignments moves objects whose placements are defined relative to alignments. The transformation follows the alignment definition and takes into account the curves and tilts. Alignments are typically found from the infra models.

Objects

Select Object Class, Group, Group Category, Top Most, or Part-level objects. The objects' placement must be defined relative to alignments.

Set Distance Along

Choose whether you want to move the object along the alignment.

Distance Along

The distance you want to move the objects along the alignment. Positive direction is from the start to the end of the alignment. If you try to move the object past the end of the alignment, it is transformed to the end of the alignment.

Set Lateral Offset

Choose whether you want to offset the object relative to the alignment laterally. Note that the lateral direction depends on the alignment's definition at the given point.

Lateral Offset

The offset of the lateral transformation relative to the alignment

Set Vertical Offset

Choose whether you want to offset the object relative to the alignment vertically. Note that the vertical direction depends on the alignment's definition at the given point.

Vertical Offset

The offset of the vertical transformation relative to the alignment.

Set Longitudinal Offset

Choose whether you want to offset the object relative to the alignment longitudinally. Note that the longitudinal direction depends on the alignment's definition at the given point. Moving the object longitudinally is different than moving it along the alignment.

Longitudinal Offset

The offset of the longitudinal transformation relative to the alignment.
