Startup Canvas

The Startup Canvas is the first interface you encounter when launching Simplebim. It serves as a central hub, giving you quick access to your most recent Simplebim-compatible files..

Open Menu

• Click the folder icon or the dropdown icon next to Open to open the dropdown menu.

• The dropdown lists your most recently opened and exported files and folders, making it easy to reopen a model you’ve worked with before..
  

• Use the Browse Local Files option to locate a file directly through Windows Explorer.

• At the bottom of the menu, you’ll also find our architectural example project, which you can use to explore the features and functions of Simplebim.

Settings (Gear Icon)

• On the right-hand side, you’ll find the settings gear.

• Here, you can configure custom import options for IFC files before opening them.
