This tool aggregates property values into the container objects. The formulas can use constants, container properties, and, of course, building element objects’ properties. The very basic operation is summarizing property values in different ways, but there are other aggregation types available, too.

Typically, the containers are assemblies of different kinds. For example, a structural precast object.

Settings

There are four different tools for calculating and aggregating properties. They all share common settings, which you can find in the Calculate Properties for Objects tool's documentation.

Aggregate Properties for Containers also shares settings with the Aggregate Properties for Groups tool. From this documentation, you can also find some helpful examples of how to use formulas for aggregation.
